Easter

Easter this year was fun. It was very relaxed and spontaneous. We went to Grandma Vonnie's and Paige got to look for plastic eggs inside, since it was raining. I filled the eggs with trail mix and Vonnie filled some with Cheerios. Paige also got an Easter basket with presents: special coloring markers that only mark on certain paper (from Grandma Kris), a necklace, flash cards, a stuffed puppy...and I think thats it. Grandma Kris also got Claire a teething ring. Hopefully she wont need that in the next month like Paige did.

Before all that, Vonnie, Paige, and Brian colored eggs. Paige really enjoyed the egg coloring, and the very particular, "organized" side of her came out when she would move and move and move all the eggs around in specific (but non-specific) orders. It was funny to watch. But she really enjoyed the time to get to do something fun like that.

We hung out all evening and had dinner (pork chops and potato casserole, yum yum), and then eventually went home around 8:30 or so. It was a fun day! The only thing that could have made it better is if the sun were out. Maybe next year!
